It is obvious that comedian Njugush is one of the country’s funniest comedians and content providers. Njugush is another comedian who has turned video creation into a family business. You see, the Njugush family develops material from the father to the son.
The comic sat down with fellow comedian Oga Obinna and discussed why he let Tugi on social media. According to Njugush, he noticed the youngster had a knack because whenever they were having routine talks in the house, he would say things that were far funnier than his jokes.
This motivated him to create a YouTube channel for him, which has already made the small youngster famous.
Despite his early age, Tugi is already making a name for himself in the entertainment sector. The boy’s YouTube account has over 140 000 subscribers.
Tugi is following in his parents’ footsteps by being as amusing as his father, as evidenced by the video footage of him that have been posted on social media.
The Njugush family established a precedent in the country by being the first pair to make content development and entertainment a family affair. Over the last few years, their brand has grown at an exponential rate.
The narrative of Njugush and Wakavinye is one of love, hard effort, and endurance. As they previously stated in an interview, the pair rose from rags to riches.
They met in the Kenya Institute of Mass Communication, when they were both studying Journalism and Mass Communication.
Celestine, or Wakavinye as she is more commonly known, claimed that what drew her to Njugush was his sense of humor since she never got bored while he was around.
During the interview, Njugush also described how he went from nothing to become one of the country’s most recognized comedians. He began his career as a journalist at the Kenya Institute of Mass Communication before moving on to performing at the Kenya National Theatre.
While there, he was found by his now-best friend Abel Mutua and cast in the Hapa Kule News Show. According to Njugush, that was the tipping point for people to notice his talent.
