In recent ranking of the most dangerous countries to live in 2025, as published in the New York Post, Andorra is the top safest country followed by United Arabs Emirates.

In compiling the list assessment was carried on political activity, extent of property-related crimes, such as burglary, theft, mugging,vandalism and violent crimes such as assault, homicide and sexual offenses.

 

According to the list the 10 most dangerous nations are

 

1.Venezuela at position 147 with (19.3) points

2.Papua New Guinea at 146 (19.7)

3.Haiti 145 (21.1)

4.Afghanistan 144 (24.9)

5.South Africa 143 (25.3)

6.Honduras 142 (28)

7.Trinidad and Tobago 141 (29.1)

8.Syria 140 (31.9)

9.Jamaica 139 (32.6)

10.Peru 138 (32.9)

 

It is shocking that Haiti, Afghanistan and Syria are in the same league as South Africa. In fact Iraq ranks even higher at position 64 with 56.9 points.

 

On the other hand, the most safest countries are:

 

1.Andorra (84.7)

2.United Arab Emirates (84.5)

3.Qatar (84.2)

4.Taiwan (82.9)

5.Oman (81.7)

6.Isle Of Man (79.0)

7.Hong Kong (China) (78.5)

In East Africa, Rwanda ranks as the safest country at position 25 overall with 73.1 points. It even ranks higher than Germany at 52 with 60.6 points, Australia at 82 with 52.7 points, UK at 87 with 51.7 points and USA at 89 with 50.8 points.

 

Tanzania is at position 104 with 46.5 points while Uganda is at 107 with 45.9 points. Kenya is at position 111 with 44 points, almost going draw with Libya which has 43 points, but ahead of Zimbabwe 123, Nigeria 137, Ivory Coast, Fiji, Bahamas, Angola, Brazil and many others. South Sudan was not listed.
