Veronica Maina, the UDA Secretary General, with urgent Blessings from Doctor William Ruto,had written a formal letter to Musalia Mudavadi and Moses Wetangula sweetly inviting them into the wheelbarrow movement, loaded with conditions they believe can be fulfilled by the UDA boss.

The letter expressed in detail the importance UDA is going to get from the Luhya leaders in case they join UDA while at same time promising them slot of favors which will individually benefit them and their community.

Doctor William Ruto had made it candidly clear, that he was never going to negotiate with any brief case party in his quest for the presidency.

Any individual,he said, interested in making him the President,was to join UDA,which he believes is the only party in Kenya with a national outlook.

His sentiments generated slot of jitters across the nation because many briefcase parties were planning to negotiate with him because Raila Odinga is a Man that can not be trusted. His political history is marred with unapologetic betrayal and disposal. So Ruto was the only hope of such immature politicians.

They consequently schemed to make Ruto agree to a coalition agreement while at the same time expunging Raila’d betrayability with a legalbrestriction.

So what will Ruto gain from a coalition with the two Inefficient Luyha leaders? Well , first of all the public perception that the two leaders still have little influence. Second,their two votes, because every vote matters, especially when the deep state is against you. They’ll also bring sanity unto wheelbarrow movement by purifying the tainted name of Dr. William Ruto, which has been characterised by a synthesize state misrepresentation of his character,as a man predisposed to theft, lies,conmanship and dictatorship.

What will the Luhya leaders gain from the union? First of all,money, Reputation and credibility. The Leaders are Almost sliding into Oblivion due to the influence of Doctor William Ruto and Eng Raila Odinga in their own homegrounds. With Atwoli siding with Raila Odinga and taking the war to Mudavadi’s doorstep,the entry of William Ruto will strengthen their base and outreach programs currently hampered by their financial inadequacy. Allow me to conclude by saying that union between Ruto and the Luhya leaders Isa win for both sides. But is it possible? Can Luyha unite with a Kalenjin? Almost impossible. This is like a a luo attempting to climb the mountain… anyway time will tell.
