Musalia Mudavadi is a Kenyan politician who was born in the year 1960 on 12th September in Vihiga district Which is on the western region of Kenya.

Musalia made his first step in parliament in 1989 after the death of his father, and took over as the Member of parliament in Sabatia Constituency and by then the serving president was the Late Daniel Arap Moi who was the second president of Kenya.

He served as the Vice prime minister in the year 2008 April till 2013 when Raila Odinga was the Prime minister by then and Mzee Kibaki as the President of the republic of Kenya.

Musalia Mudavadi contested for presidential seat in 2013 General election with Jeremiah Kioni who was his Running mate and by the time he could not make it as the president but instead took the 3rd position after which Uhuru Kenyatta took over as the president of Kenya.

After the first term of President Uhuru, Musalia Mudavadi made a coalition with Raila Odinga and supported him on 2017 General elections but still they failed and now Musalia formed a strong party hopeful for 2022  general elections which is The Amani National Congress ( ANC).

Mudavadi is one of the 2022 presidential aspirants we have in Kenya and he is eying on forming an Alliance of “Okoa ” Kenya with KANU leader Gideon Moi ,WIPER leader Kalonzo Musyoka who was the first Vice president under new constitution and FORD KENYA party leader  Moses Wetangula.

In this Coalition Musalia Mudavadi has not yet been named as the Flag bearer but as for many and his position on Politics he is most likely to be the Flag bearer of Okoa Kenya Alliance.
